What if I am a dog lover and don't have a dog?
No problem! All we ask is that you love dogs. You do not have to have a dog to attend.
What if my dog is aggressive?
We understand that some dogs develop protective behaviors. If your dog has challenges getting along with other dogs or people, we ask that you do not bring them along. If your dog were to get aggresive at an event, you may be asked to leave.
Is K9-Connection a single's group?
NO. Our events are social events that anyone can attend, as long as you're a dog person and 21 years of age.
What does the cover charge include?
First and foremost, a unique event with your dog and other dog-lovers! Biscuits, water, waste removal services(thanks to scoopy poo) & friendly doggie bouncers (Barkbusters) keeping an eye out for every one's safety. Participants receive special discounts from our sponsors (which may include photos of your dog at the event)& a portion of proceeds are donated to the featured charity.
Unlike a bar or restaraunt that profits from sales, K9-Connection needs to be funded to pay staff, insure events, and for company upkeep(marketing, website, ect.) to continue to provide a quality experience for you and your dog.
Is the cost per person or per dog?
Cover charge is per person.
What forms of payment does K9-Connection take?
We accept Visa or Mastercard. Payment by check or money orders are accepted but must be received 72 hours prior to the event to hold your registration. Checks/Money orders must be made payable to:
K9-Connection and mailed to 457 Newton Ave S Minneapolis, MN 55405.
Will I receive a ticket in the mail?
No, your registration will be confirmed with an email. Your reservation will be held and confirmed at the event with a photo ID.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations are accepted 72 hours prior to the event with a $12 cancellation fee. Tickets may be transferred to another user or credit can be given towards your next event.
Will K9-Connection share, sell or rent my personal information?
The latest fitness craze for dog lovers is called "doga" & K9-Connection has brought it to mat near you. In a typical doga class, owners help their pups facilitate different poses, and they also do their own poses using the animals as helpful props. Owners also perform doggy massage and acupressure to help soothe and relax their pets. It is about you and your dog, and time with your dog,
How many of your events are off leash?
We host both on-leash and off-leash events. There are only a few places that are fully fenced in and ensure the safety of dogs being off-leash. 30-50% of the events are off leash, it will be noted in the event description if is an off-leash or on-leash event.
What happens if it is an outdoor event and it rains?
Each event has a rain date. If you signed up for the event you would be informed at least 2 hours prior to the event if the event is being canceled and rescheduled to the rain date via email, or your can check status updates on our FB page, or the events page on our site. The Nomad is the only event site where we can be indoors and the events are rain or shine.
Is K9-Connection a chain?
No. We are a small business located in Minneapolis, MN.
Can I order merchandise online?
As of now, we are only selling merchandise at events. If you can not make it to an event and would like to buy a t-shirt or sweatshirt, arrangements could be made to pick up merchandise from my office.
